Landolt Cup 2025, 3rd - 6th September 2025
It's time again !
After a break in 2024, we are delighted to announce the next edition of the tournament, which will take place from Wednesday 3 September to Saturday 6 September.
Finalists in the 2023 edition, Fribourg Olympic will once again be ready to take up the challenge against top European teams with the Geneva Lions latest Swiss Champions and winner of the Cup.
SIG Strasbourg (France), Chemnitz Niners (Germany), Hubo Limburg United (Belgium) and Manchester Basketball (England) are the foreign teams.
As a reminder, our 6 teams will be divided into 2 qualification groups, the "Mercier" group and the "Tissières" group. Each team will play 2 matches in their respective group, then a 3rd for the classification finals.
The qualifying matches will take place on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The finals on Saturday

André Mercier and Michel Tissières are people who have worked for a long time for the good development of the USY Basketball. André was for more than 10 years president of the club and was one of the pillars who started the tournament in 1974.
Michel Tissières was an exceptional coach for many years. Recognized for having trained players who became professionals as for example the Louissaint siblings.
André and Michel are honorary members of the USY Basketball club and consequently, it was important for us to associate them with the Landolt Cup.
